With the Rossonerri seeking to add defensive reinforcements, Milan currently find themselves within a difficult predicament whilst attempting to lure Parma defender Giovanni Leoni
SportItalia’s Gianluigi Longari reports that although Milan coach Max Allegri has deemed the 18-year-old as his primary target within the summer market, the Rossonerri remain on stand-by as they await for German defender Malik Thiaw to depart the club before making a move.
The central defender has received an offer from Serie A side Como, but the 23-year-old is not entirely convinced at the moment to join Cesc Fabregas’ side. Whilst the Italian outfit keeping close contacts with the young German international, the Diavolo currently find themselves on hold to boost the back-line.
As it stands, cross-city rivals Inter are also keen on acquiring the services of rising Italian international, after newly hired Nerazzurri coach Christian Chivu has worked several months with Leoni throughout their short period together with the Gialloblu last season.
