Milan’s Rafael Leao: Fenerbahce growing confident and preparing second offer | OneFootball

Serie A side Milan are growing desperate to sell Rafael Leao but are yet to find the right suitors. It is Fenerbahce who continue to push for the move and are ready with a second offer.

Daniele Longo has reported that after an initial bid from the Turkish side was rejected, they have worked with intermediaries and with Jorge Mendes to inform Milan that a second offer is incoming. This should come in the next few hours, with parties working to bring the Portuguese to Turkey.

Fenerbahce’s first offer was at €40 million but Milan were clear about their €60 million demand. The new bid will come close to this demand, with the player also demanding €10 million per season, with Mendes holding the key to the deal.

Fener are moving forward with determination and confidence, even if the player is back in Milan training and at Ruben Amorim’s disposal.

Mendes could iron out the move

Milan have been very reliant on the Portuguese super-agent for the last couple of years and this could be his biggest contribution yet. Several intermediaries in Turkey are close to Italian clubs and this can also unlock what would be a massive deal for Fenerbahce.
