Miloud Hamdi bounces back in Egypt after a successful stint at Yanga SC
After leading Yanga SC to a historic treble, Algerian coach Miloud Hamdi has taken the helm of Egyptian club Ismaily SC. He has officially signed a one-year contract with the ambitious Egyptian Premier League side.
Arriving in Tanzania from Singida Black Stars, Hamdi was appointed head coach of Yanga SC midway through last season, succeeding Sead Ramovic. In just a few months, he made a huge impression by delivering three major trophies: the Tanzanian league title, the President's Cup, and the Union Cup.
Now, Miloud Hamdi embarks on a new adventure along the banks of the Nile. Ismaily SC, a legendary club in Egyptian football, sees him as the man to restore the team to its former glory. For this mission, he will be supported by two coaches: Belgian assistant Hammadi Saghier and Tunisian fitness coach Marouane Silimani.
With this new chapter in Egypt, Miloud Hamdi will look to cement his reputation as an effective and unifying coach, capable of making an immediate impact on his squad. A major challenge awaits him in a league renowned for its intensity and passion.
