MLS Cup Wild Card is upon as the final entrants into the playoffs will be decided this evening.
Here is what went down in Chicago and Portland.
Scorers: Mora 24', 35', Miller 82' ; Glad 39'
The Portland Timbers booked their ticket to the Western Conference playoffs with a much-needed home win against Real Salt Lake.
The Timbers came into the clash without a win since August amid goal-scoring struggles, but those woes were put to bed when Felipe Mora bagged two in the first-half.
While Justin Glad cut the hosts' lead in half before the break, a late Kamal Miller dagger put proceedings to bed, despite a wave of RSL pressure early in the second-half.
Portland will move on to face San Diego in the opening round of the MLS Cup Playoffs.
Scorers: Gutiérrez 48', Cuypers 56', 68' ; Spicer 89'
Chicago Fire joined the Eastern Conference fray after a second-half cruise past Orlando City this evening.
Early second-half goals from USMNT youngster Brian Gutiérrez, and Hugo Cuypers fired the hosts into the lead after a limp opening 45 minutes.
Orlando certainly pushed to find a way back into the affair, but Chris Brady made a handful of superb saves to keep Chicago ahead and push them on towards qualification.
A Hugo Cuypers dagger past the hour mark alleviated any Chicago doubts, securing his brace and the Fire's spot in the MLS Cup Playoffs opening round.
Gregg Berhalter's side will square off with Supporters Shield winners Philadelphia Union.
