The AC Milan squad did a morning training session today as preparations continued for the Champions League game against Girona.
Milan have been on a good run in the Champions League having won four games in a row against Club Brugge, Real Madrid, Slovan Bratislava and Red Star, which has propelled them towards the top eight places.
As MilanNews reports, the team trained this morning at Milanello in preparation for Wednesday’s UCL game against Girona at San Siro (kick-off at 21:00 CET). Tomorrow will be the media day, with Sergio Conceicao and a player speaking at a press conference at 13:30.
Good news has arrived on the condition of Alvaro Morata, who left the match against Como six days ago at half-time due to muscle fatigue. The striker – who missed Saturday’s match against Juventus due to suspension – trained regularly with the group.
Christian Pulisic, on the other hand, did not train with the rest of his team-mates as he too is struggling with a muscle issue suffered against Como. The American forward also did some individual work today.
Tomorrow will be decisive to understand if the No.11 will return to full work and will therefore be available to Conceiçao for the match against Girona.
