Liverpool appear to be well on their way to putting their frustrating winless run to an end, as they lead visiting Newcastle 3-1 at Anfield.
After going one-nil down thanks to local hero Anthony Gordon, Arne Slot's Reds have not looked back, with Hugo Ekitike giving them the lead late in the first half with a quick-fire brace.
Not finished there, Liverpool went on to find a third on the night in the 67th minute through German wunderkind Florian Wirtz, who stroked home a laid-off pass from Mohamed Salah.
And while the budding attacking pair of Ekitike and Wirtz are beginning to make heads turn, it was Salah who perhaps has the most telling stat of the night.
With his second-half assist, the Egyptian legend became the first player in Premier League history to record double figures for both goals and assists against a single opponent, bagging 10 goals and 10 assists in 19 appearances against the Magpies.
There isn't much left to achieve across what has been a simply stellar career on English shores and beyond.
