Mohamed Amoura ‘to undergo’ Benfica medical on Thursday | OneFootball

Benfica could revive a move for Mohamed Amoura after earlier efforts fell through. Voetbalkrant reports that medical tests are booked for Thursday, with a view to signing for Marco Silva's side and becoming another option in attack.

Benfica offered 28 million euros for the forward last summer, but Wolfsburg rejected it as they wanted around 40 million euros.

There is no fee disclosed this time. With Wolfsburg relegated to the German second division, it may now take less than 40 million euros.

In 2025/26 Amoura made 33 appearances for Wolfsburg, totalling 2,057 minutes. The right winger scored eight goals and provided three assists.

He is an Algeria international and is currently valued at 20 million euros.
