Mohammed Amoura to join Nice on loan with €20m option

According to L'ÉEquipe, Algerian forward Mohammed Amoura will join Nice early next week on a loan that includes a €20m option to buy.

Nice had a late fright when Al-Sadd arrived on Saturday with significant financial terms to hijack the move, but the Qatari club did not succeed.

Amoura is leaving Wolfsburg, who were relegated to 2. Bundesliga, to complete the switch to the Riviera club.

The 26-year-old is due to land on Sunday on the Côte d'Azur, then take his medical on Monday.

He had been identified as Nice's priority target in attack.
