AS Monaco are thick in the hunt for UEFA Champions League football after recovering from their midseason downturn in form. A victory over fourth-place Olympique Lyonnais today would narrow the gap between themselves and today’s opponent to a single point.
Head coach Sébastien Pocognoli has been repaying the faith shown in him by taking Les Monégasques on a five-match winning streak in Ligue 1. With this in mind, it’s expected that he will likely not make any changes from the side that won at home to Stade Brestois last weekend.
Wing-backs Caio Henrique and Vanderson remain out of action, which will likely mean that Simon Adingra will take up the spot on the left, while Jordan Teze will be on the right. Lukas Hradecky will remain in between the sticks after making his return from injury.
