Monaco progressing in move for Paul Pogba | OneFootball

Former Juventus and Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is now closing in on a move to Ligue 1 side Monaco.

The Frenchman has not played a game of football for two seasons now and is ready to join a new club, with his FIFA-imposed ban having been lifted. Several clubs have been linked with him him Monaco are now making progress.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Monaco have made positive contact for the midfielder and this has happened the Ligue 1 side made some initial surveys to understand Pogba’s situation.

Talks are now intensifying and there is increasing hope that a deal can potentially close soon, with the player keen on a new experience and play football once again, with his second stint at Juve having yielded almost nothing of note due to injuries and the suspension which came as a result of having tested positive for testosterone in the first game of the 2023/24 season.
