Monaco ultras call for director general Thiago Scuro to go | OneFootball

According to L'Équipe, AS Monaco’s ultras issued a social media statement on Sunday calling for director general Thiago Scuro to leave, citing a general loss of standards at the club.

Their anger has been building, notably around the Coupe de France round of 32 tie at Orléans on 10 January, which finished 3-1.

In the new statement they attacked the hierarchy, portraying the owner as absent and saying control had been handed to out-of-touch decision-makers.

The group condemned what they see as widespread drift after a damaging week, with defeats to Lorient 1-3 and Real Madrid 1-6, plus a laboured 0-0 at Le Havre.

Their focus is Scuro, whose immediate exit they demand, along with swift accountability from the leadership.

Ultras Monaco 1904 also urged a large-scale mobilisation before the Champions League meeting with Juventus on Wednesday 28 January. It is viewed as a decisive fixture for the club’s European prospects.
