Security for Monaco v PSG’s Champions League play-off first leg on Tuesday at 21:00 will follow a standard plan, with some caution about Marseille supporters in the area.

L'Équipe reports that the match has been rated level 2 out of 5 by the DNLH, indicating real but moderate risks linked to the location and the possible presence of OM fans.

There is no history of trouble between the two fanbases and Stade Louis-II is not known for hostile atmospheres. Policing will be scaled accordingly, with two mobile units deployed to oversee the event.

1,000 PSG supporters are expected for a European night that, as of Sunday, looked close to a sell-out. Procedures will mirror a Ligue 1 match, with team coaches escorted by motorbike to the stadium.

As in Brest last year, additional Paris fans based locally are likely to have bought tickets and could be scattered inside the ground. A security meeting is scheduled for Monday to refine arrangements, before the customary matchday briefing on Tuesday.
