The lowdown ahead of the next seven days at Manchester City with three of our teams in action.
Following the pause in domestic men’s football, Pep Guardiola’s side return with a tantalising assignment as the first Manchester derby of the term comes into focus.
Elsewhere, Andrée Jeglertz’s team are back at the Joie Stadium for the first time this season in the Barclays Women’s Super League and our Under-18s are looking to extend our unbeaten start to the campaign.
Here’s all the information needed ahead of the week.

Our women’s Head Coach will field questions from the media on Wednesday ahead of our home meeting with Brighton which takes place on Friday.
The Swede’s press conference will be broadcast live on mancity.com and our official app before written and video recaps are published.

A busy Friday begins with Pep Guardiola’s addressing the media at 13:30 (UK), which will be streamed live on mancity.com and our official app.
As ever, there will be written articles and a video recap from the press conference made available shortly after its conclusion.
Then all eyes are on our first home WSL assignment of the term as City Women welcome Brighton to the Joie Stadium at 19:30 (UK).
All bases are covered on our official app. Our Matchday Centre, providing regular updates, stats and analysis will get underway from 18:00 (UK).
Live audio commentary will also be available from kick-off, and make sure to have push notifications turned on to be alerted to all the key moments as they unfold from Manchester.

The week then concludes with a seismic clash between City and Manchester United in the first derby of 2025/26.
