Morata ruled out of Juventus vs. Milan after Como caution | OneFootball

Milan will have to do without starting centre-forward Alvaro Morata for their upcoming Serie A match against Juventus after the Spaniard picked up a yellow card in the league fixture between the Rossoneri and Como on Tuesday night.

Morata suspended for Juventus-Milan

Morata has now accumulated five yellow cards for the 2024-25 season in Serie A, which means he will now serve a one-game suspension.

The scores were level at 0-0 in Como-Milan at the time of the yellow card.

The suspension will be in effect for Milan’s upcoming match against Morata’s former club Juventus. He has never scored against the Bianconeri, and will now not be able to do so in Serie A this term.

There is still a chance that Milan and Juventus meet again in the Coppa Italia, however, although that would require both teams reaching the final.
