Michelle Agyemang's Euro 2025 campaign with England is "more than I could have wished for" after scoring another crucial goal for her country.
The 19-year-old scored in the sixth minute of stoppage to draw England level with Italy in the semi-final before Chloe Kelly's penalty rebound goal booked the Lionesses spot in the final.
Agyemang has proven to be an impact player for Sarina Wiegman's side, scoring within seconds of her debut against Belgium earlier this year scoring the equaliser against Sweden in the quarter-final.
"I am so proud of the team’s fight and the effort," the Arsenal player, who spent last season on loan at Brighton, said about last night's performance.
"We were down for over 90 minutes and to show that character and the fight, I said it last time, but I am saying it again, it is the character and the strength of this team that has got us this far."
Agyemang also spoke of her role in England's march to the final: "To be doing this at this level and to be helping out this team is more than I could have wished for, so I am so grateful to be here,” she added.
"It is so special and to see my team celebrate with me, most of these girls I haven’t even known for more than two months, but it shows the togetherness we have in the team, and the fight, the heart and the team spirit that we have.
"To see everyone celebrate with me like that, it is a great team moment and it is definitely going to live in my heart forever."
England are set to face either Germany or Spain in the final with the two teams facing off in Zürich tonight.
