Morgan Bokele expected to join Dunkerque on loan from Metz | OneFootball

Morgan Bokele is expected to join Dunkerque on loan from Metz in the coming days, according to L'Équipe.

Dunkerque have moved quickly after Gessime Yassine, 20, left for Strasbourg. The Ligue 2 side, fourth on 33 points, are expected to finalise a loan with no option to buy as they aim to stay in the play-off race.

Bokele was a key figure in Metz’s promotion last spring, contributing four goals and four assists.

The 21-year-old Cameroonian forward also had offers from clubs in Belgium and the Netherlands.

He has made 12 appearances for Metz this season. Different to Yassine, he is often used on the left despite being right-footed, and is noted for his speed.
