Ebnoutalib, courted by Japan and Germany, has chosen to represent Germany despite several provisional call-ups.

Some regulars are not included, among them Chemsdine Talbi, Eliesse Ben Seghir, Amine Adli, Amir Richardson, Amine Sbaï and Souffian El Karouani.

Others are unavailable through injury this window, including Ayoub El Kaabi, Chadi Riad, Youssef Belammari, Youssef En-Nesyri and Hamza Igamane.

Amrabat is an expected absentee after a dispute with his coach, having said he would be unavailable while Mohamed Ouahbi remains in post.

First senior call-ups go to Alaa Bellaarouch and Abdellah Ouazane, 17. Yassir Zabiri is also selected after scoring six goals in six matches this season.
