The return of Federico Dimarco is extremely welcome news for Inter Milan, and the Italian’s soaring cash value shows why.
This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They note how the 27-year-old currently sits at the top of Transfermarkt’s list of most valuable left-wingbacks in Europe.
Federico Dimarco has gone from strength to strength since returning to Inter Milan in 2021.
While the Italian international has admitted himself that his form in recent weeks is not his best, there is every reason to think he’ll return to that level soon.
Dimarco became a key player in Inter’s starting eleven in the 2022-23 season. He started in the Champions League final of that campaign.
And last season, Dimarco was one of the shining lights as Inter won the Serie A title.
Federico Dimarco missed Inter’s last few matches prior to the international break.
This was a result of an injury that the 27-year-old picked up. He suffered a thigh strain during a Serie A clash with Napoli at the start of the month.

But Dimarco has now fully recovered. He is ready to start against Udinese tomorrow.
And Inter will be able to rely on a player who is, financially speaking, at the top of his class in Europe.
Transfermarkt value Dimarco at an eye-watering €60 million.
That is a higher amount than for any other left-wingback in European football.
This figure is almost certainly entirely academic. Inter would have little intention of selling Dimarco – and the player himself is a boyhood Nerazzurri supporter with little reason to leave.
But it is a reflection of just how much Dimarco has grown.
