For the third consecutive year, AC Milan celebrates Mother's Day: a tradition launched in 2024 as a first in Italian football and since adopted by numerous other clubs across the country.
On Sunday 10 May, the Men's First Team and the Women's First Team will wear their mothers' maiden names on the back of their jerseys in AC Milan v Atalanta in Serie A at the San Siro and in AC Milan v Parma in Serie A Women at the PUMA House of Football. The initiative will also feature during the official line-up announcements.
The initiative will involve the Rossonero family beyond the First Teams as well. Players from Milan Futuro and the men's Primavera will feature in digital content pieces, while the Under-8 Pulcini team will be accompanied onto the pitch by their mothers ahead of the kick-off of their match.
The Mondo Milan Museum will also confirm its participation by allocating a portion of the proceeds from tickets purchased for visits to the museum on the day of the anniversary - both online and at the Casa Milan box office – to support Fondazione Milan's projects.
On the occasion of AC Milan v Atalanta, Banco BPM - Official Bank of AC Milan, Jersey Sponsor of the Women's First Team and Match Sponsor of the game - will set up a stand outside the San Siro in collaboration with AIRC (Italian Association for Cancer Research), where fans will be able to support oncological research through a donation.
