Motherwell arrive after back to back league defeats, following three straight wins that included a 5-0 victory at St Mirren and a 2-0 home success against Dundee United. Hibs are unbeaten in their last three league games, winning at Celtic and at home to St Mirren before draws with Dundee and Livingston.

Motherwell's season profile points to control and resilience: 59% average possession, 86.04% passing accuracy and only 23 conceded with 16 clean sheets. The visitors, by contrast, deliver from wide areas, with 472 open play crosses at 21.19% accuracy and nine headed goals, so the Hibees may look to test the hosts aerially.

Tawanda Maswanhise leads the league scorers with 16 for Motherwell, while Elijah Just has seven goals and six assists. For Hibs, Kieron Bowie and Jamie McGrath are on eight apiece, with Martin Boyle on six. Nicky Cadden and Josh Mulligan have supplied five assists each.

A home win would take Motherwell to 56 points and strengthen their grip on fourth. Victory for Hibs would lift them to 50 and cut the gap to three, keeping them in touch with the top four.
