Jose Mourinho has returned to Real Madrid as the club’s new head coach.

Following the re-election of Florentino Pérez as the club’s president, the long anticipated appointment of Mourinho has now been confirmed.

The Portuguese boss has signed a three-year deal with the club he first managed back in 2010, when he won the league title in the 2011-12 campaign.

He will officially join Real Madrid on July 13, the day pre-season begins.

Mourinho leaves Benfica to take up the job at the Bernabeu.
