José Mourinho used his post-match press conference after the draw with Casa Pia to say he wants to continue at Benfica.

According to CNN Portugal, Jorge Mendes has advised him to leave, suggesting staying at the club would be a waste of time.

The stalemate denied Benfica a chance to capitalise on Porto dropping points.

After 28 rounds of the Liga Portugal Betclic, Benfica sit third on 66 points, two behind Sporting on 68 with a game in hand, and seven off Porto on 73.

Mourinho added that while Mendes is his agent, he alone will decide his future.

The report surfaced amid questions over his position at the club.
