Real Madrid are set to undergo a major shift in team dynamics next season, particularly in the creative department, with the club already bringing in Bernardo Silva on a free transfer.

Real Madrid also wanted to bring back Nico Paz following his exceptional spell at Como but that hasn’t worked out.

They are still on the hunt for Michael Olise, who has become the club’s number one priority in the transfer market.

The potential addition of Olise, coupled with Silva joining on a free transfer could significant alter the power dynamics in the creative department.

However, according to MARCA, Mourinho and Real Madrid have decided to retain faith in Guler despite the addition of Silva this summer.

It appears the club value him highly due to his tactical versatility as he is able to operate in multiple positions across the final third. As such, they see him as a key element in the Real Madrid midfield.

Guler is coming on the back of an impressive season at Real Madrid, although there were bouts of inconsistency at times that were frustrating.

His case has been complicated by an under-par World Cup, where Turkiye were one of the first nations to get eliminated from the group stage despite boasting talents such as Guler and Kenan Yildiz.

Keeping that in mind, it is imperative for Guler to perform well in the new season at Real Madrid, if he is to maintain his status as a key player for Los Blancos.

New coach Mourinho is not known for his forgiveness and a poor start to the season could be enough to derail his chances of making a breakthrough.

This is even more relevant considering that Mourinho will have no shortage of talented creative options, including Silva, Franco Mastantuono, Brahim Diaz and Rodrygo, among others.
