According to Meu Timao, a group of Corinthians members and councillors asked São Paulo prosecutor Cássio Conserino to review alleged irregularities in president Osmar Stabile’s summons of the Conselho Deliberativo to consider the provisional removal of Romeu Tuma Júnior.
He noted he has no direct administrative or civil remit at the club, yet said the material aligns with investigations already under way.
The complaint alleges a unilateral call that breaches the Statute and seeks Tuma’s summary ousting.
Conserino has forwarded the document to the Promotoria de Justiça do Patrimônio Público e Social, which leads the civil inquiry into possible judicial intervention, and urged tighter governance, including a compliance policy.
On Wednesday Stabile called an extraordinary meeting for 23 March under article 112, item six, citing urgency due to alleged misconduct, a disciplinary process and the nine March session being halted and sent to the General Assembly.
The suspension request cites allegations of threats, harassment and interference, plus witness material, documents, a filing to the Ethics and Discipline Commission, a police report and an interim suspension plea.
Stabile told councillors he had been threatened by Tuma during an informal dinner. Tuma denied this and accused the board of rehiring a security guard cited in police testimony over a January 2025 invasion.
The exchanges triggered a 10 minute pause, after which the council presidency applied article 45 to send the draft reform directly to the General Assembly on 18 April.
