Muralha, the former Flamengo midfielder, helped Abha Club clinch the Saudi Second Division with a 3-1 win over Al-Batin on Sunday.
The result left second-placed Al-Draih out of reach with three rounds remaining, according to Globo.com.
The 33-year-old, who emerged at Flamengo in 2011 alongside Ronaldinho Gaúcho and Thiago Neves, has seven goals and six assists in 30 appearances, 29 in the league and one in the King's Cup.
He said he is experiencing the best moment of his career, crediting the daily support of his wife and daughter for making a difference.
Across 10 years outside Brazil, with spells in South Korea, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, he has achieved four promotions and two titles. This season he made the team of the round five times and was named MVP in five matches. He described it as a historic campaign and said he is among the club's standouts.
