With Matchweek 26 in the books (check out our must-read Talking Points here), we bring you the best performers in their respective positions for the round, using the Roshn Saudi League’s unique Performance Index.
The explainer is just below, while you can use the filter option to select the appropriate matchweek and choose from a number of formations.
The Team of the Week below is pegged to our traditional 4-4-2.
The RSL legend helped Al Shabab to a third win from five by keeping a clean sheet in the 2-0 win at home to Al Okhdood. Grohe made three saves in all, while his seven recoveries ranked as the joint-highest in the match.
Ahead of the RSL title-winner, is another. The winter loan signing from Al Hilal contributed to that blank against Al Okhdood, making two interceptions and six recoveries. Al Bulayhi is no doubt crucial to the club’s newfound top-half ambitions.
The Damac defender starred in his team’s vital 3-1 victory at Al Najmah that kept them out of the relegation zone. Bedrane not only ranked second in the encounter for successful passes (59) and total touches (79), but he provided the assist for Yakou Meite’s equaliser.
The stand-in Al Nassr captain continues to be a reassuring presence at the back, as evidenced in the 5-0 win at Al Khaleej that kept his team top. No teammate bettered Al Amri for tackles won (two) and interceptions (two), while he racked up a sixth clean sheet in seven RSL outings.
Completing Al Shabab’s dominance of our back five, the Dutch defender contributed to that clean sheet at home to Al Okhdood. Hoedt topped the match for successful passes (59), and his 73 total touches were bettered only by star man Yannick Carrasco.
What a way to break into our Team of the Week. The Al Qadsiah midfielder now owns one of the most dramatic moments in the 2025-26 RSL, when his 98th-minute winner sealed the hosts' stunning 3-2 comeback against title rivals Al Ahli. Check out the goal, and wild celebrations, HERE.
Damac’s talisman maintains his massive influence on the Khamis Mushait club with a Man of the Match display in the success at Al Najmah. Vada chipped in with a goal and an assist for Damac to stay three points above the bottom three.
The Al Taawoun captain was pivotal to his side’s 2-2 draw at NEOM Sports Club. Not only did he lead the way in the clash for successful passes (74) and tackles won (four), but El Mahdioui topped Al Taawoun for chances created (three) and total touches (86). Oh, and there was the assist for Roger Martinez’s initial equaliser.

Beginning an Al Nassr triumvirate to close out our Best XI, the Saudi Arabian winger helped secure that emphatic win at Al Khaleej. Yahya got the visitors’ second of the night, pouncing on an Angelo rebound to thrash home the ball. He will be key to the title run-in.
Speaking of the Brazilian, his turnaround sustains at Al Nassr. Now thriving under Jorge Jesus’ tutelage, the winger had a major hand in the table-toppers' latest win. As mentioned, it was Angelo’s saved shot that allowed Yahya to score, while he then teed up Joao Felix and got on the scoresheet himself.
Attacking teammate Felix is finally back among the goals, snapping a 14-match drought with a brilliant brace in Dammam. The Portuguese superstar also laid on Angelo’s goal, meaning he moved joint-top of the 2025-26 assist charts. Felix concluded the game with an eighth Man of the Match award of the season.
