Hugo Bueno says Wolves feel like his second home and that he is enjoying a personally positive year, even as the club battle at the bottom of the Premier League.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, a recent upturn has lifted optimism at Molineux, with fans hoping the side can chase down 19th placed Burnley and close on those above. The run also ensured they moved beyond Derby County's 11-point Premier League low.
The 23-year-old spent last season on loan at Feyenoord, returned in the summer, missed spells through injury, and has grown into a regular under Rob Edwards. He scored the opener in a 2-2 draw with Arsenal earlier this year and is now a fixture in the side. The left back joined Wolves' academy in 2019 from CD Areosa in Spain.
Bueno said the club feels like his second home after arriving young, and that he feels at home and that the team means a lot to him. He described a Spain senior call-up as a dream for all Spanish players, said he works toward it every day, and hopes to get an opportunity one day, having already played for the under-21s at last season's European Championships.
He believes the team are improving day by day, with recent results reflecting the work on the training ground, and says they must keep pushing to the end. Personally, he is relishing playing almost every possible minute and wants to finish the season as strongly as possible.
