Levante go to Betis knowing survival is in their own hands. Avoiding defeat at La Cartuja would be enough, while a loss could still suffice if other results fall their way.
The squad are preparing for Seville and, according to AS, Luis Castro will be without Brugui after his dismissal against Mallorca on Sunday.
Castro’s line-up has been settled of late, but right-back remains open as injuries to Víctor García and Toljan have pushed 17-year-old Nacho Pérez into contention.
The Spaniard started the derby against Valencia earlier this season, then featured at the Camp Nou against Barça. His biggest test came on Sunday, entering after 25 minutes when Toljan was injured, while Víctor García could not even make the bench due to muscle discomfort.
Toljan and Víctor García remain doubtful for Seville, their availability dependent on how they recover. Both have trained separately with two sessions left before the trip.
Should neither be passed fit, Pérez is the leading option on the right. The Turís native looked assured against Mallorca and delivered a solid display at full-back, fitting the trust Castro has shown in Levante’s youngsters.
