Nantes depleted in defence before hosting OM | OneFootball

Nantes’ defence is stretched before Saturday’s 32nd-round home meeting with sixth-placed Marseille at 15:00, though goalkeeper Anthony Lopes and midfielder Francis Coquelin should be available.

According to L'Équipe, full backs Fabien Centonze, knee, and Kelvin Amian, pubalgia, plus centre-back Tylel Tati, thigh, are ruled out for the season.

Frédéric Guilbert and centre-half Ali Yousuf are doubtful after minor knocks. Lopes, who has a sprained thumb, is considered likely to feature.

Coquelin is back in midfield after another thigh problem. Up front, Dehmaine Tabibou is suspended following an accumulation of five yellow cards.

Nantes have the division’s weakest attack, 26 goals, level with Angers, and remain in a perilous position. They sit 17th, five points behind Auxerre, 16th and in the play-off place.

The club could drop into Ligue 2 as early as this weekend, depending on Auxerre’s result. Auxerre host Angers on Sunday at 17:15.
