FC Nantes are in need of a win if they are to save themselves from relegation to Ligue 2. Les Canaris won against Olympique de Marseille (3-0) last week. However, AJ Auxerre’s win over SCO Angers later in the weekend leaves Nantes on the brink of relegation from Ligue 1.

With two games remaining, they are five points back from Auxerre, who currently occupy the relegation playoff spot. L’AJA face fellow relegation strugglers OGC Nice this weekend. A win away to RC Lens on Friday night is therefore a must if they are to survive. 

Les Canaris are without Tylel Tati for the encounter, as well as Fabien Centonze, Francis Coquelin, and Kelvin Amain. Ignatius Ganago is set to lead the line for Vahid Halilhodzic’s side.
