Napoli have set their sights on two Como players, Jean Butez and Maximo Perrone, but it won’t be easy to convince the Lariani to sell any of their stars, and the midfielder is also wanted by Inter to potentially replace Hakan Calhanoglu.
According to Il Mattino, the Partenopei already have two starting-caliber goalies, but Antonio Conte has been impressed by the Biancoblù starter and his complete skillset. He’d be their main target if either Vanja Milinkovic-Savic or Alex Meret left the club in the summer.
Per Tuttomercatoweb, the Frenchman will likely stay put. He’s found a steady role near the lake following his spells at Lille, Mouscron and Royal Antwerp. He’s in the running to make Les Bleus’ World Cup squad. However, his team believes it already has his heir apparent in Noel Tornqvist. They signed him from Myallby last summer, and he came over during the winter.
In addition to Butez, Napoli are also tracking Maximo Perrone, who’s a concrete target for them and Inter, Matteo Moretto reports (via Calciomercato). He’d be the top choice if Stanislav Lobotka departed, but they might try anyway.
The Nerazzurri are in a similar spot. Calhanoglu’s extension talks aren’t progressing, and Galatasaray continue to push to onboard him. On the other hand, Como are in great financial shape. They invested €13M to acquire the midfielder from Manchester City, which are owed 30 percent of the sale.
The Argentine is as good as it gets for teams looking for a young ‘regista,’ but he’s also at the bottom of the players the Lariani would consider cashing in on if they had or wanted to. It could be easier to acquire the goalie.
