Napoli have reached an agreement with Schalke 04 over the departure of Jesper Lindstrom, with the Denmark international already in Germany to undergo a medical ahead of the move.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, citing transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Dane is joining Schalke on a loan deal that includes a €5m option to buy.

The agreement also hands Napoli a set of bonuses, which would be triggered if the newly-promoted German side retain their Bundesliga status and if Lindstrom makes a certain number of appearances.
