Napoli are preparing to sell Vanja Milinkovic-Savic just one year after signing the Serbian goalkeeper for approximately €20 million, with sporting director Giovanni Manna having already identified PSV’s Matej Kovar as his preferred replacement.
According to Nicolò Schira, via IlNapolista, Milinkovic-Savic’s departure appears increasingly likely, with the club having decided that Alex Meret will be their number one next season under incoming coach Massimiliano Allegri.
Among the destinations being considered for the Serbian is Saudi Arabia, where his brother Sergej plays for Al-Hilal under Simone Inzaghi, a family connection that makes the move particularly plausible.

Kovar, currently representing the Czech Republic at the World Cup, has long been admired by Manna and fits the profile of a modern, technically capable goalkeeper suited to Allegri’s demands.
The former Leverkusen stopper would represent a significant upgrade in terms of long-term project building.
Elsewhere, Napoli’s pursuit of Lazio defender Mario Gila is also gathering momentum. Lotito has lowered his asking price from €30 million to €20 million, though Napoli remain firm at €15 million.
With Lazio under pressure to balance their books and operate at a net zero in the transfer market, a compromise in the coming weeks looks increasingly likely.
