Napoli have positively concluded their chase of Noa Lang, who will soon travel to Italy for the medicals, and are inches away from securing Sam Beukema. Dan Ndoye and Janlu Sanchez are next on the docket.
According to Calciomercato, the Partenopei will shell out €25M plus €2M add-ons, and a future 10 percent resale clause, for the PSV winger. The Ajax product broke out at Club Brugge and then returned to his home country. He’s coming off his best season yet. He tallied 14 goals and 12 assists in 44 matches.
After landing Lang, Napoli are on the home stretch in the Beukema deal. Their latest and possibly final proposal amounts to €30M plus €2M add-ons. They might need another nudge, but the outcome doesn’t appear in peril. The player is pushing to join. The same goes for Janlu Sanchez. The Azzurri are €2M away from matching Sevilla’s €17M price tag.
As for Ndoye, the Partenopei have gotten close to the €35M threshold and would rather not up their bid any further, as they deem it a good enough, Alfredo Pedullà informs. The ball is in Bologna’s court now. They’d pivot toward Federico Chiesa and Antonio Nusa if their bid weren’t accepted.
Lang is a solid get, but, if they acquired Ndoye, they could have perhaps stopped at one winger and be fine given his versatility, durability, and skill-set. They might have to wait for the Felsinei to find a replacement first, as happened with Beukema, whose exit has been basically greenlighted after the arrival of Martin Vitik from Sparta Prague. Convincing the Rossoblù to sell two stars would be quite an accomplishment.
