Napoli want to strengthen their attacking department, and their biggest priority is signing a striker. The Serie A club won’t retain Victor Osimhen beyond the summer transfer window. They are interested in Hojlund because of his experience playing in the Serie A.

Hojlund has scored 2 goals in 22 matches so far in the Premier League 2024/2025 season. Overall, his goals scored per 90 minutes is 0.13. Moreover, Hojlund’s total G/A (goals + assists) is 2 for this season. His goal involvement equates to 0.13 per 90 minutes. His non-penalty xG per 90 minutes is 0.18.

So, Manchester United should definitely accept the best offer that Napoli will be making and use it to buy the perfect replacement in the transfer market. They are sure to not make any profit, and moreover, don’t trust him to perform long-term at Old Trafford as well. So, the best bet is to let him leave for Napoli for a decent offer.
