Nathan Kasia, 17, to sign first pro deal at Saint-Étienne | OneFootball

Nathan Kasia, 17, will sign his first professional contract with Saint-Étienne, tying the centre-back to the club until June 2029, L'Équipe reports.

The academy product has been training with Ian Cathro’s group since the start of pre-season.

Kasia progressed through INF Clairefontaine and RC Joinville, the Paris-region amateur club that has launched many careers, including that of Jérémy Jacquet at Liverpool.

He is a regular pick for France under-17s.

Called into the senior squad, he played in the first two summer friendlies, a 2-2 draw with Swiss third-tier Biel Bienne then a 0-1 loss to Servette, logging 45 minutes in each.
