Nathaniel Brown is close to joining Bayern Munich from Eintracht Frankfurt after a breakthrough in talks, Bild claims.

The clubs are understood to have agreed a fee just under €65 million on Wednesday.

Remaining work centres on the deal structure, particularly the balance between the base payment and add-ons.

Frankfurt want bonuses to account for only a smaller share of the total package, yet there is confidence the agreement will be finalised in the coming days, likely before Germany’s World Cup opener against Curaçao on Sunday.

Brown and Bayern are already said to have agreed a contract running until 2031.
