NEC Nijmegen ‘to reject’ Hoffenheim’s €15m bid for Kodai Sano | OneFootball

TSG Hoffenheim have reportedly lodged a €15 million bid for NEC Nijmegen midfielder Kodai Sano. According to SoccerNews, the Eredivisie club are expected to turn it down.

The report says Nijmegen are holding out for around €20 million, while the 22-year-old has also been linked with VfB Stuttgart.

Sano joined NEC from Japanese side Fagiano Okayama in 2023 for a fee of €450,000.

He finished last season with three goals and eight assists in 39 appearances.

Sano is the younger brother of Mainz midfielder Kaishu Sano.
