Neuer focuses on Bayern

According to the report, this is also due to the high workload: Neuer has already played in four World Cups and three European Championships and knows exactly what physical demands another major tournament would entail

Instead, he is apparently planning to use the summer break to be optimally prepared for another season at FC Bayern, with a clear internal motto: if he stays fit, he wants to continue doing what he enjoys most – playing soccer in Munich

A possible DFB comeback therefore seems to be taking a back seat at the moment – unless national coach Julian Nagelsmann actively approaches him again

More responsibility planned for Urbig

At the same time, Bayern are also cautiously pushing ahead with the generational change in goal, with Jonas Urbig expected to receive significantly more playing time in the coming season

According to Sport BILD, the plan is for the 22-year-old to play around 20 games, gradually introducing him to the role of future number one
