According to sources close to the club, initial talks about a possible contract extension are set to begin soon, with reports recently circulating that Bayern boss Jan-Christian Dreesen has already held initial informal talks with the player’s side

In the BILD podcast Bayern Insider, Christian Falk confirmed that the time for such talks is approaching: „The time is now slowly approaching. The talks should start.“

Bayern bosses want to actively address the issue in order to clarify the future of their top striker at an early stage – ideally before the 2026 World Cup in the summer

The signals from the player’s entourage are said to be fundamentally positive. According to Falk, Kane’s closest confidants have also been present around the club recently. „His brother Charlie and his father Pat were also at the game in Bergamo. They are his advisors,“ explained Falk in the podcast
