FC Bayern are continuing to sound out the transfer market, and there could also be changes in midfield this summer. The focus is now shifting to a young Premier League player whose future is currently open.
According to Football Insider, 23-year-old Pape Matar Sarr from Tottenham Hotspur is on the radar of several top clubs. In addition to FC Bayern, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the Senegalese international, according to the report. Sarr could be signed as a replacement for Leon Goretzka.
The background to this is the tense sporting situation at Spurs, who are in serious danger of relegation. They are currently 18th in the table and therefore in a relegation spot, two points behind 17th-placed West Ham United.
The situation could change significantly should they actually drop into the Championship. A possible relegation would probably force Tottenham to sell – a scenario that interested clubs are watching closely. Sarr is considered one of the most exciting players in the squad, whose future is currently uncertain.

According to CaughtOffside, the asking price is around 50 million pounds, which equates to around 57 million euros, which is significantly higher than his estimated market value of 32 million euros and could make a transfer difficult for Munich.
In addition to the European heavyweights, Fenerbahçe are also involved in the race. According to Turkish-Football.com, the Istanbul club has already made contact with Sarr’s entourage, where the midfielder is seen as a key reinforcement for a planned turnaround.
At FC Bayern, a potential deal is likely to depend primarily on the financial framework conditions. An expensive transfer is unlikely, especially in view of the current squad structure in midfield. With the established Kimmich and Pavlovic as well as the up-and-coming Tom Bischof, Pape Matar Sarr would probably only be a backup option.
