New twist for Ayase Ueda as Fenerbahce ‘agree’ personal terms with Romelu Lukaku | OneFootball

Romelu Lukaku and Fenerbahce have reached a personal agreement, according to Fabrizio Romano. What that could mean for their pursuit of Ayase Ueda remains unclear.

Fenerbahce are said to have bid around six million euros to Napoli, which was rejected, with a counter-offer following. Napoli want about 12 million euros for the Belgian forward.

The same report adds that Fenerbahce have now submitted a new proposal to Napoli. A final agreement is thought to be getting closer. Only the clubs would need to finalise a fee if talks progress.

Voetbal International reports that Fenerbahce have also lodged a bid for Ueda. Feyenoord are understood to value the Japan international at around 25 million euros.

Technical director Devy Rigaux is willing to meet the Turkish club to advance a deal, provided Ueda is open to a move to the Super Lig. The Belgian would at least give the Turkish giants an experienced striker who can hold the ball up.
