Newcastle eye Dortmund star Nmecha as Bruno replacement | OneFootball

L'Équipe report Felix Nmecha is Newcastle United’s clear preferred solution to replace Bruno Guimarães. The captain of the Magpies is closing on a move to Premier League champions Arsenal in one of the big transfers of this summer.

Meanwhile, Dortmund are reportedly not interested in listening to offers below €120 million for the German international. According to the French outlet, Newcastle United are well aware of Dortmund's demands.

Newcastle United are expected to replace Eddie Howe with the German coach Matthias Jaissle as the official announcement is the only thing left in the deal. They signed fellow Germany international Nick Woltemade for over €70 million last summer from Stuttgart to replace Alexander Isak.

Nmecha had a decent World Cup, although Germany were knocked out in the first knockout stage. He played in a pre-season game for Dortmund on Monday in Tokyo.
