Lamine Camara (21) is currently in Morocco representing Senegal at the Africa Cup of Nations, but his future at club level may now be uncertain, Romain Molina reports.
Camara is seen as a high-potential midfielder and one rather tailored to the demands of the Premier League. His form since joining AS Monaco back in the summer of 2024 has attracted the attention of some elite sides, including Newcastle United, as per a report from The Athletic.
Molina now reports that Monaco would not be opposed to selling Camara during the upcoming January transfer window, should their valuation, which has not been revealed, be met.
Camara recently addressed his future with the Principality club in an exclusive interview with Get French Football News.
“For now, I would say that I am very happy at Monaco. It is a team in which I am really at ease. There are players who are really kind here, who are really ambitious, too. I also have a manager who really counts on me. The Premier League is a league that I follow a lot; everyone follows it. Most players really like it, but I would say that I am very happy at Monaco and really focused on Monaco,” said Camara.
