The 29-year-old centre-back joins Newcastle United after leaving Liverpool last month at the end of her contract. She has spent the last two seasons playing her football on Merseyside.

She has close to 150 appearances to her name in the English top flight.
On the international stage, Evans has been capped by Wales on 90 occasions while she has scored two goals for her country.
After joining Newcastle United, Evans said “I’m happy this move is finally over the line. I’m over the moon, I’m looking forward to meeting the girls, meeting the fans and showing them what I can do.
“I think it’s a really exciting project to be part of and I can’t wait to get going.”
Evans is Newcastle United’s second signing of the summer transfer window.
