FC Bayern continues to move forward with its roster planning. Following the latest additions to the first team, the Munich club has now secured two young talents to the club on long-term contracts.
At FC Bayern, squad planning is moving at a rapid pace. After the signing of Ismael Saibari was recently made official and Nathaniel Brown had already passed his medical, the record champions have now also made two important personnel decisions at the campus.
As the club announced on Thursday, Vincent Manuba and Yll Gashi have extended their contracts. Fullback Manuba signed a new contract through 2027, while attacking talent Gashi committed to the Munich club through 2028.
Michael Wiesinger, Head of Sports and Youth Development at FC Bayern, explained the decision as follows: “Vinnie was on the verge of making the leap to professional soccer, but unfortunately he suffered an injury in the final stretch of last season. With this contract extension, we want to give him the security he needs to make a full recovery and get back into match shape.”
Regarding forward Gashi, Wiesinger said: “Yll has developed well over the past few years; together, we want to continue to harness his talent and potential. We’re very much looking forward to the future with both of these young players.”
Manuba has been wearing the FC Bayern jersey for about ten years. The 21-year-old joined the record champion’s U12 team and has played 48 Regionalliga matches for the amateurs so far. Last season, he was also part of the first-team squad for the Champions League round of 16 match against Atalanta Bergamo.

Gashi joined the Bayern Campus in 2022 from Hertha BSC’s youth academy. The 18-year-old U19 national team player impressed last season with strong performances. In 25 appearances in the DFB Youth League and the Youth League, the forward scored 11 goals and set up five more. He has also gained his first experience with Bayern’s amateur team, for whom he scored one goal and provided one assist in four matches.
With these two contract extensions, FC Bayern once again underscores that developing its own talent remains a central component of the club’s sporting philosophy.
