Next loan deal finalized: FC Bayern confirms departure | OneFootball

There are expected to be some changes to the FC Bayern roster this summer. Some players have already left the record champions, and others are expected to follow. There’s a lot of movement within the roster right now. 

Now, the club’s management has finalized another departure. Magnus Dalpiaz is being loaned out and will return to his native Austria.

The Innsbruck-born fullback is joining TSV Hartberg on a one-year loan. 

Last season, he played on loan for Milan, but only saw action in their youth academy. The goal now is for him to gain playing experience at the senior level.

Dalpiaz is moving to Austria

The Austrian U19 national team player is under contract with FC Bayern through the summer of 2028. The loan is now his chance to prove himself for bigger opportunities. If Dalpiaz makes a name for himself in Austria, he could make a permanent move in the summer of 2027 and bring in some much-needed revenue for the record champions.

This is part of FC Bayern’s strategy with young players anyway. They are meant to be challenged and developed, but of course not all of them will make it to become a serious option for the first team. The club wants to give these players the opportunity to prove themselves at a higher level than in the youth system or the regional league.

After all, if a player doesn’t reach Bayern’s level, that doesn’t automatically mean he can’t be of interest to other clubs. And earning certain sums for players you’ve trained yourself can become a very lucrative business in the long run. In that respect, the loan to Hartberg should be viewed very positively for now. Dalpiaz now has the chance to take his next steps in a calm environment.
