Neymar has hit back on social media at Remo’s president after Santos qualified for the Copa do Brasil quarter-finals at Mangueirão.

According to Globo.com, club president Tonhão called the Santos number 10 a “vagabundo” in the stadium’s mixed zone on Tuesday night following provocations with opponents.

After the final whistle, Neymar answered a taunt from a Remo supporter in the stands, blowing a kiss towards what was said to be the supporter’s wife.

The confrontation continued in the tunnel with Remo players, staff and directors, ending only when the forward entered the dressing room.

Hours later, the Santos number 10 posted a photo from a yacht, captioned “Vagabundiando (sic)”.
