Neymar available, Rony ruled out as Santos face Fluminense | OneFootball

Santos will be without Rony for Sunday’s Campeonato Brasileiro meeting with Fluminense at Vila Belmiro, kick-off 16:00 Brasília time, after he sprained his right ankle.

According to Globo.com, Rony missed both of Friday’s sessions at CT Rei Pelé and remained indoors for physiotherapy. Gabriel Menino, with a muscle injury to the back of his right thigh, also continued treatment and is out.

Neymar is available for the game in Baixada Santista. The number 10 took part without restriction in a training match against the under-17s and could make his third successive appearance.

He still harbours hopes of featuring at the World Cup and needs a run of matches with Santos.

Probable Santos XI: Gabriel Brazão, Igor Vinícius, Lucas Veríssimo, Luan Peres, Barreal, Willian Arão, Gustavo Henrique, Gabriel Bontempo, Moisés, Neymar, Gabriel Barbosa.

Santos begin round 12 in 15th on 13 points, three clear of Cruzeiro in 17th and first in the relegation zone, which also contains Remo, Chapecoense and Mirassol on eight, eight and six respectively.
