Neymar confirmed as Brazil’s No 10 for World Cup | OneFootball

Neymar has been confirmed as Brazil’s No 10 for the World Cup after the squad numbers were released.

On Saturday, head coach Carlo Ancelotti said there would be no changes to the 26. He added that Neymar cannot yet train with the group but is progressing individually and should be available for the opener or the second match.

Brazil play Panama on Sunday 31 at 18:30 at the Maracanã in their send-off friendly. The team then travel to the United States to face Egypt on six June. Their World Cup opener is against Morocco on 13 June, followed by Haiti on 19 June and Scotland on 24 June.

The Santos forward is recovering from a grade two muscle injury and is currently working three sessions a day.

The 26-man squad also features Alisson, Vinicius Jr. and Endrick.
